The Founding Sport of Flamengo wrote another historic chapter this Sunday morning (23), at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. In great style, Flamengo won the sixth and final regatta of the State Championship and confirmed the Carioca title undefeated, a feat achieved for the tenth time in its rich and victorious history. In total, the Most Beloved now has 56 conquests of the competition, reaffirming the hegemonic nature of the season that ends with this conquest.
Even with the title already secured, the representatives of Macaquinho Sagrado entered the water to compete at a high level and fulfilled their mission. They won 18 medals in 13 events, with 8 golds, 8 silvers, and 2 bronzes, numbers that were more than enough for the red-and-black anthem to be sung at the highest point of the nautical podium on the lagoon.
With yet another dominant regatta, FlaRemo closes out 2025 celebrating not just another achievement, but a brilliant season that saw the club become seven-time Brazilian champions in long boats, and now, undefeated Rio de Janeiro champions, in addition to individual international achievements, such as Felipe Kluver's gold medal at the World Championships in Shanghai (CHI).
