Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas will be hosting, starting this Friday (11/4), another National Selection, aiming at the Rowing Pre-Olympic that will be held in June, in the city of Pozan, Poland.

Flamengo will be competing for a spot in the men's Two Withouts pre-Olympic competition. Pedro Pizarro will be the official representative of Flamengo in the qualifiers. Pedro will share the oars with Célio Amorim, from Brasília, of Clube Naval, in the Federal District.

According to the criteria established by the Brazilian Rowing Confederation, boats must complete at least 6:40 in the 6-meter Olympic distance during the Trials. In the second phase, they will need to complete a time of 30:XNUMX to qualify for the Pre-Olympics.

The National Selection for the Pre-Olympics will be held between April 11th and 13th, on the tracks of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, starting at 7 am.
