Sunday was a victory for CRFlamengo, which once again secured the title of champion of the 19th Regata do Futuro, a race for schools and geared towards the next generation of rowers. The competition took place in Guanabara Bay, with five clubs participating.

With the victory, Flamengo showed its ascendancy and that it is on the right path, winning the temporary Guilherme Arinos Trophy.

Second place went to the Associação Norte Nordeste Fluminense team, with two race wins. CRGuanabara finished third with one win, followed by Vasco da Gama and ABC 8 Com.
