The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo confirmed its presence at the II “Cidade de Vitória” Rowing Marathon, which will be held on December 16th, with a course of eight thousand meters.

In addition to the red-and-black team, which will compete in the Men's Eights, the most traditional of the events, the Espírito Santo regatta clubs and the Marine Corps have also confirmed their presence. Prizes will be awarded for first through fourth place.

But, before that, Flamengo will be competing in the 4th and final Regatta of the 2007 State Rowing Championship. The competition will be held on December 9th, starting at 9am, on the tracks of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.

Vasco da Gama, the red-black team's biggest rival, is in first place in the Championship, with a five-point advantage.
