Lots of determination on the lanes of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas this Sunday (21/10). The 2nd Regatta of the 2007 State Rowing Championship will be held. The competitions will begin at 9am, with the participation of the main Clubs of Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo finished second in the 2st Regatta, held in early September. Despite performing well, the red-and-black team finished behind Vasco da Gama in the medals table. Vasco da Gama took the lead in both the Regatta and the State Championship, with 1 and 76 points, respectively.

With three races won, Flamengo has 70 and 54 points, followed by Botafogo, with 52 and 36 points. Now, the red-and-black team will try to reverse the trend and stay ahead of its rival. The 3rd Regatta of the State Championship will be on November 10th.
