Three top rowers from CRFlamengo are in São Paulo for the national selection competition that will determine the representatives of the pre-Olympic Qualifying Regatta for Latin America, which will be held in the city of Rio de Janeiro, from November 17 to 19.

Kissya Cataldo, Thiago Gomes, and Thiago Almeida, who were members of the Brazilian team at the 2007 Rio Pan American Games, will be competing for spots. The national qualifiers will be held from September 20th to 23rd on the USP track and field, along a XNUMX-meter Olympic course.

The intense daily training pace that the rowers have been undergoing clearly demonstrates the weight of responsibility and the desire to represent Brazil in a high-level competition.

In addition to the preparation phase for the national selection, the red-black rowers are aiming for the II Unified Brazilian Rowing Trophy, which will be held between October 1st and 7th, also on the USP tracks, in São Paulo.
