Brazilian rowing, one of the sports with a good chance of winning medals during the XV Pan American Games, already knows who its opponents will be and the schedule of the events that will be held on the tracks of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, in the south of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian team will arrive at the Pan American Village on July 5th, along with the Baseball, Soccer, Hockey and Open Water Marathon teams.
A total of 39 athletes make up the Brazilian rowing delegation. CRFlamengo will be represented by eight rowers (seven starters and one reserve).
José Carlos Sobral Júnior (Double Skiff – Lightweight), Thiago Gomes (Double Skiff – Lightweight), Leandro Loureiro (Lightweight Four-None), Thiago Almeida (Lightweight Four-None), Nilton Alonço (Eight-With), Renata Görgen (Four Skiff), Kissya Cataldo (Four Skiff) and Déborah Amorim (Single Skiff reserve) are the red-blacks who will be on stage at the biggest sporting event in the Americas.
