The challenge is about to begin. On September 9th, the 1st State Regatta of 2007 will be held, with the participation of Rio de Janeiro's top clubs. Unlike previous years, the 2007 State Championship will have only four stages: 9/9, 21/10, 10/11, and 9/12.

After six months of preparation for the XV Pan American Games, in which CRFlamengo had a total of eight rowers called up to join the Brazilian team, seven of whom were starters, expectations are high for winning the 2007 state championship title.

Flamengo holds a total of 46 state titles and will rely on the determination of strong and experienced rowers to secure its 47th state title in Rowing.
