After the thrill of the 15th Pan American Games, the red-and-black rowers face new and important challenges. The intense pace of daily training at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas clearly demonstrates the weight of responsibility the rowers shoulder.

In addition to being in the preparation phase for the Pre-Olympic Selection, which will be held between November 17th and 19th, in Rio de Janeiro, the CRFlamengo rowers will be in action in the II Unified Brazilian Rowing Trophy, which will be held between October 1st and 7th, on the USP Olympic tracks, in São Paulo.

In the Pre-Olympic Qualifiers, Thiago Gomes and Thiago Almeida will form the men's lightweight Double Sculls boat; Déborah Amorim will pair up with Amanda Costa (Vasco da Gama) in the women's lightweight Double Sculls, and Kissya Cataldo will represent the Senior Sculls.
