For the ninth time, the city of São Luis (MA) will host the Banco do Brasil Beach Volleyball Circuit. Starting this Thursday (15/5) the Challenger stage will be held, the first of four in the Circuit.

The remaining stages will be held until August in Teresina (PI), Palmas (TO), and Aracaju (SE), respectively. The arena will be set up at Lagoa de Jansen, and admission will be free.

The competitions will continue until Sunday. The qualifying round will begin on Friday and continue until Saturday, when the final pairs will be determined.

The duo formed by Leila and Sandra Pires is out of the Seoul stage of the World Circuit. After beating Ágatha and Shaylyn 2-1 (19x21 / 21x13 / 15x11), the red-and-black duo suffered a 2-1 defeat to Maria Clara and Carol, who took the spot.
