With the same grit and determination that have characterized their campaign thus far, Sesc RJ Flamengo reaches the Superliga quarterfinals to face Osasco in a decisive series. In a tightly contested tournament, the team recognizes the challenges but is confident in the work they've done to secure qualification.

Libero Laís, a standout in the competition's passing statistics and second with the most efficient pass in the Superliga, highlighted the group's commitment and the mentality needed to face this new phase of the competition.

"Sesc RJ Flamengo is a very hard-working team. We continue to work hard, striving for victories and the best performance on the court. It's been a very tough, balanced Superliga, with several teams taking turns in the top spots, demonstrating the reality of greater consistency among the teams. Now, it's as if everything has been reset, and a new championship begins. We have at least two very difficult games against Osasco, an opponent that needs no introduction, but we really want these victories and we're going after them," he stated.

Laís emphasizes that individual success is a consequence of collective effort and the daily demands of the work led by coach Bernardinho.

"I don't think there's any secret other than hard work. Bernardo is always demanding our best, our 110%, and that keeps us constantly improving. I'm happy with the stats, of course, but our focus is always on the collective, especially at my position. If we have good volume and an efficient backcourt, we make the setter and attackers' jobs easier. That's the mission: to seek speed, passing accuracy, and defensive efficiency so the team can play even better," he analyzed.

In addition to intense training, studying the matchup is also a key factor in Sesc RJ Flamengo's preparation. Laís emphasized the importance of reading the game and mapping out opponents' plays to ensure strategic positioning on the court.

"We tend to watch a lot of videos of our opponents. There's this tactical aspect that's studied a lot. We try to map out the plays, with the best positioning for passing, receiving, blocking... Volleyball is like a game of chess; it requires a lot of study of all positions," he explained.

An admirer of Fabi, one of the greatest liberos in the history of Brazilian volleyball and an icon of Sesc RJ Flamengo, Laís continues to forge her own path with hard work and training. Alongside her teammates, she prepares for another major challenge and promises to give everything on the court to overcome Osasco and remain steadfast in the fight for the Superliga title.

Sesc RJ Flamengo will face Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde this Saturday (29), at 21 pm, at the José Liberatti Gymnasium, in Osasco, for the first game of the Superliga quarterfinals. The series will be played in a best-of-three format, with the second match scheduled for April 2, at Maracanãzinho, in Rio de Janeiro. If necessary, the third game will take place on April 11, again in Osasco. The matches will be broadcast live on the SporTV2 channel and the VBTV platform.
