In the first home game of the Superliga B, valid for the second round of the competition, Flamengo faced Tijuca, but ended up being defeated by 3 sets to 0. The first set started evenly, with both teams trading points. Flamengo opened up the largest initial lead, two points, at 9-7. However, Tijuca rallied and managed to turn the score to 13-10. After technical calls from both sides, Tijuca closed out the set with a 25-20 victory.

At the start of the second set, the visiting team started better and opened up a lead over Flamengo. At the first technical call from Flamengo, the score was already 10-4 in favor of Tijuca Tênis Clube. Mengão recovered in the match and reduced Tijuca's lead to 11-9. Flamengo attempted a comeback, but Tijuca won the second set 25-22.

The third set was decisive, and Tijuca maintained control of the match. With a more efficient attack and capitalizing on Flamengo's passing errors, the visiting team closed the set with a resounding 25-13, ending the match 3-0.
