Honoring the colors of the jersey, the Flamengo volleyball team won its third championship after defeating Unipli 3 sets to 2. The match, the third of the grand final, was played on the opponent's court, at Plínio Leite University, in Niterói, and had the support of both sets of fans.

It was a thrilling match, with both teams fiercely contesting each set. In the final, decisive set, Unipli seemed to have completely dominated the match, but Luis Roque prompted the red-and-black comeback at just the right time. With the comeback, Flamengo secured the lead and closed the set 18-16.

In the first match of the final, Flamengo beat Unipli 3 sets to 1. In the second match, Unipli won 3 sets to 2.
