The two teams fought hard and reached the final. Both teams, with excellent campaigns in the 2007 season, have top players playing abroad. Flamengo and Unipli (Plínio Leite University Center) will take to the court next Tuesday (July 3rd) in search of the title of champion of the Rio de Janeiro Men's Volleyball Cup - adult category.

In the first match of the final, held at the Gávea court, Flamengo, led by coach Arly Cunha, won 3 sets to 1. Their opponents' revenge came soon after, at home. The second match, played last Sunday (June 24th) in Niterói, ended with a 06 sets to 3 victory for Unipli.

Flamengo is being represented by excellent athletes and will enter the court determined to win yet another title for the glorious red-and-black trophy gallery.

The grand final of the Rio de Vôlei Cup will be on Tuesday, July 3rd, at 20 pm, on the Unipli court, in Niterói.
