Sesc Flamengo announced this Wednesday (4) the renewal of Simone Lee's contract for another season. A standout player for the team led by Bernardinho, the American outside hitter is the top scorer in the Women's Superliga in her first year playing in Brazilian volleyball. 

Throughout the current season, Simone Lee has maintained incredible consistency and is a key player for the Flamengo team that leads the Superliga. She is among the best athletes in virtually all the fundamentals evaluated by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV). 

"Hello, Nation! I'm so excited to be with you for another year. I can't wait to experience more games alongside our incredible fans, work with great coaches, and be with the girls for another season," said the outside hitter.
