Sesc RJ Flamengo will kick off the 2025/2026 season. In Londrina, Paraná, Rubro-Negro will debut in the Taça Brasil, this Tuesday (23.09), at 18:30 pm, against Sancor Maringá, at the gym Moringão. CazeTV broadcasts the quadrangular, which also features Gerdau Minas and Londrina Vôlei.

In addition to the squad's motivation to play in front of a passionate crowd, the tournament is essential in Sesc RJ Flamengo's preparation for the Campeonato Carioca and the Superliga in October. Last Friday (19.09), Rubro-Negro beat Batavo Mackenzie 4 sets to 0, in a training game at the Army Physical Education School (EsEFEx), in Urca, with closed gates.

One of the standout players of the match, with 14 hits, outside hitter Karina commented on the importance of dictating the pace of the Taça Brasil matches, as happened in the duel against the Minas Gerais team.

"They will be different games, but we have to go into them all with the same rhythm, with a lot of determination. We know we still need to improve our teamwork, after all, we have new players on the team. Mistakes and successes will happen, but I think we're on the right track. We did a training game "It was a very positive first challenge, winning all four sets against Batavo Mackenzie and running the group well. We have a lot of room for improvement, especially in communication, but the first step was good. We'll work to continually improve our team," said Karina.
