Sesc RJ Flamengo was defeated by Fluminense, this Sunday (January 11th), in a tie-break, with scores of 25-16, 20-25, 22-25, 25-14 and 8-15, at Maracanãzinho. It was the first negative result for the Flamengo team in the Women's Superliga. With the point earned, Bernardinho's team reached 34 points and remains in the lead. 

After a strong start to the match, Sesc RJ Flamengo struggled to receive the opponent's serve. The home team rallied in the fourth set, but were ultimately dominated in the decisive set. 

"We started well, but when they made some tactical changes during the match, it took us a while to adapt. Also, they served very well. We know we play much more comfortably when we have the pass in our hands. Today, we attacked, but we were also attacked. The team that lasted longer doing the right thing won. It's a long championship, and everyone wants to beat us. We'll keep working," said middle blocker Lorena.

Sesc RJ Flamengo's next challenge is this Friday (January 16.01th) at 18:30 PM against Dentil Praia Clube, in Uberlândia, for the Superliga.
