Sesc RJ Flamengo ended its participation in the Women's Superliga. This Wednesday (02.04), coach Bernardinho's team was defeated by Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde in straight sets, partial scores of 18/25, 21/25 and 23/25, at Maracanãzinho, in the second match of the playoffs, played in a best-of-three format. As they had already lost the first match, the Rubro-Negro was left out of the semifinals.

On a solid night for the São Paulo team, Sesc RJ Flamengo struggled to impose its game. The home team still grew, with accurate strikes from winger Helena, the match's top scorer with 19, but failed to take the lead. The 20-year-old highlighted the team's fight and the lessons learned during the season.

"We worked hard, we trained hard. But unfortunately, the team there was very strong, and we lacked something more. It's a learning experience. Few people know what we do, and I can say that, of the three seasons I was with the team, this was the one we trained the most. Even with the ups and downs, regardless of victory or defeat, we had to lift our heads, and the next day, everyone was happy, training, dedicating themselves, and giving their all. We'll take this as a learning experience. This is a difficult time for all of us, but there's no way around it. We have to maintain the same mindset and work hard, because there's no other way to achieve anything. It won't be luck; it will be nothing but hard work," said Helena.

The team ends its participation in the Superliga with a campaign of 12 wins in 23 matches.
