Sesc RJ Flamengo played a very balanced game against Dentil Praia Clube, leader of the Women's Superliga, but ended up being defeated in the tie-break, this Tuesday (19.11), at Maracanãzinho: 26/24, 25/12, 22/25, 22/25 and 16/18. The focus of coach Bernardinho's team is now on Sesi Bauru, their opponent on Friday (22.11), at 21:30 pm, at Tijuca Tênis Clube.

With one point, Sesc RJ Flamengo reached 16th in the championship standings and rose from third to second place. After two high-level first sets and leading the match 2-0, the Rubro-Negro struggled to escape their opponent's traps.

"We played a tough game against Praia. We're growing, evolving, but we still make mistakes that compromise us against an opponent of this level. The victory could have gone to either team, but it's part of the process, it's a process of construction. The fact that we recovered from a loss to Fluminense and started well today should be valued as a demonstration of the team's strength. But in the decisive moments, Praia was more patient and took advantage of our weaknesses. We have a group that will mature throughout the competition," analyzed wing spiker and captain Michelle.
