On a night below normal, Sesc RJ Flamengo was beaten by Sesi Bauru, this Friday (14.02), by 3 to 0, partials of 16/25, 17/25 and 29/31, away from home, in the sixth round of the return leg of the Women's Superliga. Coach Bernardinho's team now focuses on recovery at home, against Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, on 21.02, at 21 pm, at Maracanãzinho.
Rubro-Negro remained in sixth place with 33 points and continues to search for the desired consistency. Once again without winger and captain Michelle, who is recovering from inflammation in her left foot, the team struggled to turn the ball around, and not even Bernardinho's excellent moves were enough.
"It took us a while to understand the power of the serve, we made a lot of mistakes. As soon as we realized it was possible, we improved. But above all, we're a group. We're without Michelle, trying to keep the spirits up, so that's the focus for the next game. Osasco is coming off an excellent campaign, with a title, and we know their power, so we'll try to bring energy to the court," said opposite hitter Camila Mesquita, Sesc RJ Flamengo's top scorer in the match with 14 hits.
