Undefeated and with the best record in the Women's Superliga, Sesc RJ Flamengo traveled to the interior of São Paulo for another great challenge. This Friday (December 05.12th), coach Bernardinho's team faces Sesi Vôlei Bauru at 21 pm, at Arena Paulo Skaf, in Bauru (SP), seeking their eighth victory and three more points to stay in the fight for the lead. SporTV2 and VBTV will broadcast live.

In second place, with 20 points and one game less than the leader Gerdau Minas, who has 21, Flamengo expects a tough match. The Rio de Janeiro team comes from an exciting victory in... tie-breaker about the Minas Gerais team, at Maracanãzinho, while the current Superliga runner-up arrives in high spirits after overcoming the Sancor Maringá in straight sets, away from home.

"We're coming off a great win with the support of our fans, but we know we can do more on the court. It was the start of a tough run, and Sesi Vôlei Bauru won't be any different. They're very strong at home, and it's always difficult to play there, especially against a great setter like Dani Lins. We're prepared and aware that our serve needs to work to benefit our defensive system," analyzed outside hitter Karina.

Sesc RJ Flamengo reached the top of the podium in the national competition in the 1997/1998 and 1999/2000 seasons (both in Curitiba), 2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 (in Rio de Janeiro).

The 2025/2026 Superliga features 12 teams, which will face each other in a home-and-away format. The quarterfinals will feature the top eight teams from the qualifying phase in a best-of-three playoff. The semifinals will also be best-of-three, while the final will be a single-game series.
