Sesc RJ Flamengo is back in the top four of the Women's Superliga. This Wednesday (February 4), coach Bernardinho's team defeated last-placed Abel Moda Vôlei in straight sets, with partial scores of 26.02-25, 20-25 and 22-25, in Brusque (SC), in the eighth round of the return leg. With this, they reached 23 points, trailing third-placed Sesi Bauru. There are only three games left until the end of the qualifying phase.

Without center Juju, rested due to back pain, and winger Michelle, still recovering from inflammation in her left foot, Rubro-Negro took to the court with Adria and Helena, and managed to overcome the difficulties imposed by the home team.

Opposite player Edinara left the court as the night's top scorer with 16 points. And young Adria, just 20 years old, made the most of her first start for the Red-Blacks. She scored nine points and won the VivaVôlei Trophy for best on court.

"I'm very happy to have helped the team. At first, it was a challenge to adapt to the balls, because Brie and I don't train together every day, but I focused on doing everything I could on the court and gave my best. I'm very grateful for the opportunity the team gave me, and it's a special feeling to come away with the victory and this recognition," said Adria.

Sesc RJ Flamengo will take a break from the Superliga during Carnival, but will focus on two important matches in Minas Gerais. On March 14th, the Rubro-Negro will face Gerdau Minas at 21:30 pm in Belo Horizonte. On the 18th, the match will be against Dentil Praia Clube at 18 pm in Uberlândia.
