With the G4 of the Women's Superliga on the horizon, Sesc RJ Flamengo faces Abel Moda Vôlei, this Wednesday (26.02), at 18 pm, at Arena Brusque, in Santa Catarina, for the eighth round of the return leg, with broadcast on SporTV2. In addition to seeking the three points to continue climbing the championship standings, coach Bernardinho's team wants to keep confidence high at the most important moment of the season.

Fifth-placed Rubro-Negro reached 36 points after a great victory over Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, in straight sets, last Friday (21.02), at Maracanãzinho. Against the Santa Catarina team, which has not yet won in the competition and is in last place, the players know that they need to maintain the same aggressiveness and concentration.

"Our motto here is work, hard work. Win or lose, everyone can be sure that we will dedicate ourselves and keep working. We're coming off a victory in which we focused our energy even more, because we always want to keep believing, knowing that we deserve to play well and come away with a positive result. We didn't give up even in the most difficult moments, after two consecutive losses. So, we'll face the Brusque team with the same mindset," said center Juju.

Sesc RJ Flamengo continues to stand out in the Superliga statistics. Setter Brie leads the way in serving numbers, with 20 aces. Middle blockers Lorena and Juju rank first and eighth in blocking, with 68 and 47 points, respectively. Lorena is also the fifth most efficient attacker (46,67%). Libero Laís tops the list of best passers (68,90% efficiency), with captain Michelle in sixth (64,25%). Opposite hitter Edinara is the fifth highest scorer in the competition, with 264 hits. 

Sesc RJ Flamengo reached the top of the podium in the Women's Superliga in the 1997/1998 and 1999/2000 seasons (both in Curitiba), 2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 (in Rio de Janeiro).

The 2024/2025 Superliga brings together 12 teams, which face each other in a home and away match, and the top eight advance to the playoffs.
