Sesc RJ Flamengo finished its series of matches in Rio de Janeiro for the Women's Superliga with a 100% success rate. On Friday night (November 14.11th), coach Bernardinho's team defeated Brasília Vôlei 3-0, with sets of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-23, at the Tijuca Tennis Club. The Rubro-Negro climbed to third place with 12 points, but has two games less than its opponents. 

Facing an opponent that came onto the court determined to force the serve, Flamengo showed effectiveness in reception and managed to control the action in the first two sets. In the third set, the team from Brasília put up more of a fight, but the home team kept a cool head in the decisive moments.

Outside hitter Simone Lee was the top scorer of the match with 14 points, followed by opposite hitter Tainara, who scored 13 and took home the VivaVôlei Trophy for best player on the court.

"We have to take advantage of this great moment for the team, but also keep our feet on the ground, because the Superliga is long and we have a long road ahead. It's about taking the good things, carrying them forward, but also seeing what we can still improve. We're doing that every day. Laís always says in the locker room that we have a goal ahead and that, if we want to achieve it, we need to evolve with each game. The team has a lot of room for growth. Let's go for it," said Tainara. 

Bernardinho's team returns to the court on Tuesday (November 18.11th) at 21:30 pm, against Sancor Maringá, at the opponent's home.
