Sesc RJ Flamengo returned to Maracanãzinho in great style and gave the Flamengo fans a celebratory night. This Friday (October 31.10st), coach Bernardinho's team defeated Dentil Praia Clube 3-0, with sets of 25-22, 25-22 and 26-24, in their debut at the temple of world volleyball this season, achieving their second victory in the Women's Superliga. With six points, the Rio de Janeiro team climbed to fourth place, with one game less than their opponents.

True to the coaching staff's instructions, Sesc RJ Flamengo found the path to victory in the details. Outside hitter Simone Lee received the VivaVôlei Trophy for best player on the court for the second consecutive game. With 19 points, she also finished as the top scorer, followed by opposite hitter Tainara, with 15. 

The American, making her debut at Maracanãzinho, was enchanted by the energy in the stands and recalled the role of the entire coaching staff in exchanging information during the game.

"Obviously, it was a very important victory for the whole team. I think 21 pm was a great time to play volleyball! It was truly wonderful, after all, the fans showed up and the energy was incredible. They really pushed us and gave us a lot of strength. I feel we did a great job with the statistics. Robertinha and Tobias were fundamental. Bernardinho shared a lot of valuable information with us that he received during the match. It's amazing to have such a solid game plan to be able to find the best solutions," highlighted Simone Lee.

Sesc RJ Flamengo's next challenge is against Tijuca Tênis Clube, on Thursday (October 06.10th), at 18:30 pm, in Tijuca.
