Sesc RJ Flamengo demonstrated the strength of its team this Friday (January 30.01th), defeating Tijuca Tênis Clube in straight sets, with scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 27-25, at Tijuca, in the fourth round of the second leg of the Women's Superliga. Unable to field its full squad once again, coach Bernardinho's team played with great unity and surged to the top of the championship standings, now with 43 points. 

Besides libero and captain Laís, who is recovering from discomfort in her right knee and was once again replaced by the young Victoria, setter Giovana was on the bench, rested due to strain in her Achilles tendon. As a result, Vívian started among the starters and helped Flamengo impose themselves on their opponent to achieve their 15th victory in the competition. 

American outside hitter Simone Lee was the top scorer of the match with 21 points, followed by opposite hitter Tainara with 15. The American player made a point of highlighting the sparkle in the eyes of each player who was involved and contributed to the result.

"In the last few games, we've had to use our entire squad. It's been exciting to see each athlete stepping up, playing with heart, and helping us achieve victories. These weren't easy matches, so it's great to see everyone having fun and wanting to win. We know that if we're in the lead, it's for a reason. So, we have to maintain this mindset. The only way is to keep working. We're reaching the most important moment of the Superliga, and every game will be a challenge. Every team will want to give their all against us," said Simone Lee.

Sesc RJ Flamengo is now preparing to play away from home. Next Friday (February 06.02th), at 19 pm, the challenge is against Brasília Vôlei, at the Castelinho gymnasium, in São Luís (MA), for the Superliga.
