Flamengo has been performing well in the State and Rio Volleyball Cup competitions, youth categories.

Last Saturday (12/05), the youth teams (male and female) faced Prosport and came out victorious. Both won. While the female team closed the score in 3 sets to 0 (25x12 / 25x19 / 25x14), the male team did not let themselves be beaten by the opponent's firmness and won by 3 sets to 1 (30x32 / 25x20 / 25x17 / 25x22).

The red-black youth team (female) also had a fierce competition on Saturday. The team from Gávea ended up being defeated 3-2 (19x25 / 25x20 / 17x25 / 25x15 / 9x15) by the Niterói VC team.

For the Copa Rio, the change in the boys' children's category. Flamengo won the match against Niterói by 3 sets to 0 (25x19 / 25x20 / 25x13).

On Sunday, the youth teams returned to action. The women's youth team played against Tijuca and won 3-0 (25-19 / 25-12 / 25-14). In the Copa Rio, the youth teams of Flamengo and Fluminense faced off. The red-and-black team won 3 sets to 1 (25-14 / 25-18 / 15-25 / 25-22).

Flamengo's next game will be in the children's category (male), against Fluminense, on May 17th, at 19 pm.
