Everything is ready for the last challenge of the season! On Saturday afternoon (11), Flamengo carried out a field recognition activity at the Santana de Parnaíba Municipal Stadium, the venue for tomorrow's duel against River Plate-ARG, at 22 pm, for the first round of group A of the Brazil Ladies Cup. After winning the Campeonato Carioca title against Fluminense two weeks ago, the Meninas da Gávea have been working hard under Luis Andrade. The coach, recently hired, will make his debut for the club and is very motivated.

"We trained and prepared for this game against River, and our focus is on winning. I came to Brazil knowing how Flamengo thinks, and there's no way I could act differently. This will be my first match leading the team, and I'm confident. It's the beginning of a new cycle in my life, and I count on the support of the Red-Black Nation to build a beautiful story from now on," he said.

Competition format

Eight clubs are divided into two groups, where they play against each other and the best of each advances to the decision, in a single game, next Sunday (19).
