With the presence of idols and lots of music, Flamengo holds a great Solidarity Live at Maracanã

Flamengo Brahma Live, which collected donations for SOS Favela, also welcomed executives, journalists, and digital influencers.

What a special Sunday, Nation! On the 14th, Flamengo Brahma Live took place at Maracanã, a massive solidarity livestream in support of SOS Favela, a project supported by Mais Querido since the beginning of the pandemic, led by Viva Rio. The club featured illustrious Flamengo fans, including idols, executives, digital influencers, journalists, and musicians, all united by a single goal: solidarity. The FlaTV broadcast surpassed one million views on YouTube.

The first to speak on Mengão's Live, with presenters Marcello Melo Jr. and Glenda Kozlowski, was the president of the red-black team, Rodolfo Lacy.

"I want to thank everyone who is participating in this event and putting on this wonderful show. It's great to see everyone here to support our "Nação Solidária" campaign, in partnership with SOS Favela, a Viva Rio project that we care deeply about. I also want to thank everyone who is contributing to this campaign," said Landim.

Vice President of Football, Marcos Braz, who participated in the Live alongside Bruno Spindel, the department's executive director, also left his message for the Nation at this very difficult time the planet is going through.

"Brazil's biggest fan base has certainly lost many people during this pandemic. I'd like to send a hug to these people. I want to tell them that Flamengo will always be in solidarity with these people. May you have the strength to carry on with your lives," said Braz.

Spindel, in turn, made a point of thanking the club's fan members, who are fundamentally important to the club's success.

The livestream also featured idols from the past and present. Petkovic, Juan, Everton Ribeiro, Filipe Luís, Willian Arão, and Vitinho were in person, and idols Savio, Andrade, and none other than King Zico participated via video call. In addition to the stars on the pitch, the coach Jorge Jesus He was also interviewed and received a very moving tribute. The Mister revealed the most memorable match of his career.

"For everything that happened, it was the Libertadores final. For the ending, how it was, with suffering. We were behind (in the scoreboard) until the 88th minute. Things happened very quickly. Football is like that... But that was a sign of what that team was. A team that always believes until the end. It was the most memorable trophy of my life. I think it will be the one of my career," said the Mister.

Next, the Mister's tribute included testimonials from longtime friends of the coach, such as physical trainer Mário Monteiro, and other work colleagues, such as assistant coach João de Deus and star player Everton Ribeiro.

The musical performance was led by Flamengo musicians Xande de Pilares and Mumuzinho. They brought our massive Live Solidarity concert to a grand close with some top-notch samba.
